How To Make Handprint Spider Craft
What you will need:
- Happy Halloween spider web template printable – free in our Resource Library for our email subscribers (sign up here).
- black washable paint
- googly eyes
Instructions:
Print off the spider hands craft printable on regular paper or cardstock.
Use black washable paint to paint a child’s palm and four fingers, skipping the thumb.
Help your child make a spider handprint on the web.
Repeat with the other hand, overlapping the palm of the handprint.
Once the paint is dry, you can add the google eyes.
Remember, most spiders have 8 eyes which is a fun fact that kids really get excited about.
For our handprint spider craft, we added two large googly eyes and six smaller googly eyes.
Another fun fact, that my kindergartener son reminded me of, is that some spiders even have 12 eyes.
He loves fun facts!
